We’re supporting UK motorists with BPA accredited Car Park Management and Enforcement services

At Ipserv our expert Car Park Management and Enforcement team provide a first-class service to car parks in Ipswich, and we’re extremely proud to be accredited by the British Parking Association for providing services that adhere to their strict members Code of Conduct. But who are the British Parking Association and what do they do?

The British Parking Association represents the UK parking and traffic management profession. Today, the Association’s 750 corporate members include local authorities, those providing and managing parking at hospitals, universities, retail and leisure centres, towns and city centres, rail stations, and airports. There are even accredited companies who provide products and services to the motoring public through parking innovations including apps, new payments systems, and other technology designed to make the parking experience a better one. And of course, we can’t forget about the other great companies that are accredited by the BPA who are constructing and building the car parks of the future. In addition, the British Parking Association represents over 600 individuals and has a separate membership structure to support their professional development.

The BPA are a not-for-profit organisation that works with their members and stakeholders to support their communities and improve the compliance of those managing and using parking facilities while encouraging fairness to achieve a vision of excellence in parking for all.

In 2020 the British Parking Association celebrated its 50th Birthday. It was originally founded by political leaders and major players from UK parking in 1970, who had the vision of collaboration and sharing knowledge for mutual benefit and the common good. 50 years on this vision is still being achieved with support to both members and motorists.

How do the BPA help their members?

The BPA provide a wealth of knowledge and experience to their members. This can include keeping their members up-to-date with the latest news surrounding parking or even providing guidance and support to specific questions. The BPA also promote networking for the variety of different companies who enable parking operators to run.

The BPA helps support UK motorists by ensuring they are treated fairly and consistently when parking. They issue a Code of Conduct which all member companies must follow.

How do the BPA support UK motorists?

The BPA helps support UK motorists by ensuring they are treated fairly and consistently when parking. They issue a Code of Conduct which all member companies must follow and adhere to; this is used as a foundation when setting the terms and conditions at each car park members operate. The BPA also provide a support service to any UK motorist who feels they have been unfairly treated.

With 39 million vehicles on Britain’s roads, which is a figure that is increasing every year, it is essential that ample parking is provided that is well managed and secure.
